Kurt (your webmaster) and I have been married since the summer of 2004. We began our marriage having learned the Creighton Model of natural family planning but when our diocese expressed a need for more NFP instructors we trained in and began using and teaching CCL's sympto-thermal method which we used and taught for several years. I'm currently instructing clients in SymptoPro Fertility Education, a Sympto-Thermal Method from Northwest Family Services. I teach online at lovenatruallynfp.com.
We have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, and I am currently a stay-at-home mom. My hobbies include playing piano, photography, and Living the Sacrament of course! Kurt recently finished his Masters and is currently working in Automation. I am so thankful for his willingness to serve this community and give of his time to keep our site up and running. His expertise has been absolutely invaluable in the creation and maintenance of this forum. When we started Living the Sacrament we hoped it could be a source of support to those of us who have felt isolated in our NFP journeys. It has been so wonderful to watch each of you join and make this community your own. I look forward to getting to know you all and feel so very blessed to be a part of this growing apostolate!
Hi, I am Kara. I have been married to my wonderful husband since the fall of 2004 and we have a daughter and a son. I am so blessed to be able to stay at home with my children. I grew up Catholic and attended Catholics schools. My husband went through RCIA in 2004. About a two years after getting married, we were having marital problems. We went to a Catholic counselor who suggested that we try NFP to help with some of our problems. It changed our marriage for the better. We communicated better, we prayed together more, I was healthier, and we were so much closer and happier. Besides the chatting on Living the Sacrament, my hobbies include photography, scrap-booking, reading, shopping, and playing with my kids and dog.

I'm Tara. My Husband, Anthony, and I have been married since May 2007. We have been living life in the fast lane since our wedding: finishing grad schools, buying a house, finding new jobs, and adding to our Canine family! I am a Registered Dietitian, and Anthony is a Nurse Anesthetist. We are expecting our first little girl this August 2011, and can't wait to meet her. I was raised in a Catholic family, and Anthony was raised non-denominational. While we were engaged, we discussed family planning and it was no question to use NFP. We enrolled in a CCL-STM course series in our hometown, and continue to grow in our NFP journey daily. Anthony completed RCIA classes prior to our wedding, and we were married in my hometown cathedral surrounded by our loving family and friends. This site has been a blessing to me, as we have very few close friends or family that practice NFP, or that we can talk with about NFP. I love being a part of a support community for NFPers with similar stories, as well as very opposite stories as our own.
I'm CC and have been a user of NFP since March 2008. I went through RCIA in 2006 and felt immediately "at home" in the Catholic church. I love the tradition of the Church, the mass and especially the Eucharist. I initially learned the sympto-thermal method of natural family planning after having a negative hormal birth control experience. In my former life I worked as a probation officer and am lucky enough to be a stay at home mother now. I have been married to my sweet husband since 2006 and we have two beautiful children - a girl and a boy: and two adorable Weimaraners. I love photography, scrapbooking (when I have time!), and football like any other Texas girl.
